Home power plant up to 10 kW

Home power plant with our products can be made according to the following basic schemes:
1. On-grid – basic on-grid system
Simple on-grid connection - energy production and injection of the energy to the grid.

Advantages:
  • Simplicity - no need for anything extra, if the sun is shining, the inverter produces energy
Disadvantages:
  • In the event of a mains failure the inverter does not generate voltage, thus the appliances in the house are without power
  • Requirement of power plant registration

2. On-grid - own consumption covering, zero grid injection
Mode with inverter grid connection (on-grid) to cover own (household) consumption, zero energy injection is ensured by extension module for voltage and current measurement - RM GRID MONITOR . Inverters deliver energy only when the grid is present.

Advantages:
  • Ease of installation, troublefree operation
Disadvantages:
  • In the event of a mains failure the inverter does not generate voltage, thus the appliances in the house are without power
  • Requirement of power plant registration

RM GRID MONITOR
ON-GRID, own consumption covering
It is appropriate to use the optional continuous power regulator SRVS-10/230, which can be used to distribute unused power - the excess of the panels, and use it to supply the heating units like a boiler coil or an electric radiator. The advantage of this power regulator is the continuous nature of power, allowing optimal use of your photovoltaic system. Please, see simplified wiring diagram .
3. Boiler - Electronic MPPT controller of boiler coil power
Solution increases the energy yield from the panels by 30 to 40% compared to conventional methods, and allows the use of ordinary AC or special DC coils in the boiler.

Advantages:
  • High yield of solar panels for water heating
  • No need of power plant registration
Disadvantages:
  • Inverter in this circuit is solely for powering the boiler coil. It is not possible to connect any other device to the inverter output

4. Hybrid connection - reduction of energy bills
Mode with inverter grid connection (on-grid) to cover own (household) consumption. Zero energy injection is ensured by extension module for voltage and current measurement - RM GRID MONITOR . Uninterrupted switching to off-grid mode (island) during grid failures or blackout. After renewal of grid presence, another uninterrupted switching to on-grid mode is performed. Thanks to these smooth transition, appliances do not notice these grid outages.

In case of a requirement for three-phase system, inverters are synchronized using the RM SYNC extension module. Electrical grid parameters (limit values for the maximum line frequency, underfrequency, undervoltage, overvoltage) are continuously monitored by an certified external voltage and frequency monitoring relay KM-HRM. In the event of grid failure, inverters are immediately disconnected from the electrical grid by a contactor - main disconnecting place. Possibility of complete delivery of electric switchgear for connecting panels, inverters, batteries, appliances and electrical grid.
Paralel coupling of inverters in hybrid mode of operation is strongly not recommended.

  • Appliances in the house have reliable power even during grid outage
Disadvantages:
  • Slightly higher complexity of installation
  • Requirement of power plant registration

5. Off-grid - basic off-grid system
A simple off-grid system, suitable for a cabin or cottage in remote areas. Allows to power appliances from the batteries. Recharging of batteries is possible by the solar charger FOTO CHARGER DC 48.

  • Absolute autonomy, independence
Disadvantages:
  • Higher price compared to other power source solutions, for example gasoline generator

RM GRID MONITOR is a device for FOTO CONTROL 1f inverters used for voltage and current measuring at the point of coupling to the electrical grid.

The RM GRID MONITOR module is physically installed in the household switchboard. When connecting the inverter with the RM GRID MONITOR extension module, power and current at the inlet to the building are measured. Depending on this, it can be very easy and effective to regulate the power of the hybrid inverter. The inverter is also connected to the power supply (48V battery, wind turbine, etc.). According to the current state of energy flow, inverter is set to maximize solar energy share and it can be set to ensure zero grid injection (depends on local legislative).

Continuos pure-sine power regulator SRVS 10/230AC

SRVS 10/230AC For using the excess energy from ypur PV system, we have developed a continuous power regulator SRVS 10/230, which can be used to distribute unused power - the excess of the panels, and use it to supply the heating units like a boiler coil or an electric radiator.
The main advantage of our power regulator is the sine shape of the output voltage, which reduces any undesired disturbance of the grid or surrounding devices. Continuous power regulator allows optimal use of your photovoltaic system.

SRV 10/230AC SRV 10/230AC Electronic continuous power regulator SRV 10/230AC is used to power an electrical resistive load, for example domestic hot water heater (boiler) or floor, wall or ceiling heating resistance wire. SRV 10/230AC allows control of AC voltage while maintaining high efficiency and low interference to the network. Supply voltage for the SRV 10 / 230AC is provided from the output of the inverter. This makes the exploitation of maximum power from PV panels possible at concurrent requirement for zero grid injection.

Rectifier module UM-01/230AC
UM-01/230 Rectifier module UM-01/230AC rectifies single-phase input voltage 230 V AC, 50Hz, to output DC voltage to power the FOTO CHARGER DC 48 charger. Combining the rectifier module UM-01/230AC and FOTO CHARGER DC 48 charger, grid charger is created. The requirement to recharge the battery from electrical grid is based on long-term low light state of solar panels and discharged battery.

Active compensation of reactive power
Active power factor correction (not only) for photovoltaic power plant is possible thanks to compensatory unit UNIKOMPENZATOR . UNIKOMPENZATOR allows to compensate the power factor in range from -0.95 capacitive to -0.95 inductive. It is also possible to compensate on high voltage side, when using an external power factor measurement.

The module RM-WEBi can be connected to FOTO CONTROL 1f inverters and FOTO CHARGER solar chargers to provide visualization of data from the devices through a web page on the local network. Website is compatible with most commonly used browsers. This page is also compatible with mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. RM-WEBi To access the Internet, it is necessary to ask for the public IP address at your Internet service provider or administrator and configure redirection in the local router.
