VQFREM 400 S are vector control frequency converters using HDDis of the latest generation. They have been specially designed for the most difficult technical drives applications with induction or synchronous motors with permanent magnets supplied by 3 × 400 V, motor power up to 75 kW. VQFREM 400 S frequency converters are characterized by high dynamism of system and high overload factor. They are designed booth for open and closed systems. VQFREM 400 S basic option standardly contains software which permits energetic input power optimalization, accurate speed control and motor torque control. The main benefit of VQFREM 400 S frequency converters in comparison with VQFREM 400 is the ability of high-speed motors control. Output frequency of 3000 Hz can be reached. It enables special motors regulation to 180.000 revolutions per minute.

Power and current:

Nom. input current of the converter InIN :effective input current of the converter ( depends from cos Φ of a motor and other)
Nom. output current of the converter:nominal and maximum permanent output current of the converter
Motor power: recommended maximum power of a motor connectable to converter's output (holds for 4 - pole motors)

InQ - nominal output current of the converter for variable load
InL - nominal output current of the converter for constant load
InL60 - maximal output current of the converter that is equalled 1,5 x InL for the duration of 60 s each 10 min (this relates only to constant load)
InL2 - maximal output current of the converter that is equalled 2 x InL for the duration of 2 each 15 s (this relates only to constant load)
