VONSCH has long been aware of the fact that the majority of converter
applications are simple, not taking the advantage of various hardware
and software advanced features offered, making the purchase aimlessly
expensive. Therefore, VONSCH has developed special converter solution
for not high-demanding applications. An innovation of cost effective solution
has resulted in E (Economy) series of maximally reliable and quality
frequency converters fulfilling customer’s requirements at an unbeatable price.
VQFREM 400 E and VQFREM 230 E frequency converter series have been designed
to modify successful VQFREM 400 M series into economic version with fewer features.
VQFREM 400 E/ 230 E frequency converter series basically do not include
RS 485/ 232 interface, do not include braking module, vector control is not
supported. User interface has been reduced to simple LED display and a
three-button keypad.

- RI suppression filter class A1 (according to STN EN 61800-3)
- built in control panel "CP": user friendly interface includes LED display and a keypad. 3-character 7-segment display indicates converter's operation status. 3-button keypad is used for parameters setting and adjustment.

- modern ASIPM modules, which have lower losses than standard IGBT semiconductors. They incorporate an input rectifier and an output inverter and provide complex converter protection (protection against overcurrent, short circuit between output phases, ground faults, overtemperature)
Optional accessories
- input commutating choke "CR 230E or 400E" - integrated as optional to reduce current harmonic distortion from AC power supply
- sine filter - ensures converter output voltage to reach the desired sine waveform. In order to meet EMC requirements, shielded interconnecting cables between a converter and a motor do not have to be used when using sine filter.
- output motor choke "OR1" - allows the operation with long cables and eliminates cable capacitance on frequency converters output ( necessary to be installed when cable length exceeds 50 m or shielded cable length exceeds 25 m )
